Facilities & Infrastructure

Interdepartmental Collaboration

The ENT department works closely with General Surgery, Pediatrics, Radiology, Anesthesia, and Community Medicine for cross-disciplinary care. Joint clinics for cleft lip/palate, pediatric airway disorders, and thyroid diseases are conducted regularly. ENT screening also supports Community Medicine outreach programs in rural populations.

Skill and Simulation Labs

Simulation training is integrated into the CBME curriculum. Students practice ENT procedures like foreign body removal, nasal bleeding control, and tracheostomy on mannequins. Skill labs reinforce otoscopy, tuning fork tests, and nasal endoscopy simulation.

Temporal Bone Dissection Laboratory

The department features a dedicated temporal bone lab for PG students. Under expert guidance, residents perform mastoid surgeries, canal wall procedures, and ossicular chain reconstructions on cadaveric specimens to develop surgical proficiency.
