Department Overview

Established in 2008, the Department of Radiation Oncology is a key pillar in the continuum of cancer care at Viswabharathi Medical College & Hospital (VMCH). Situated within a dedicated Cancer Block away from the main hospital complex, it offers a calm, patient-friendly environment tailored for focused oncological treatment. The department works in close coordination with Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and Pediatric Oncology to provide integrated, multimodal care. With an unwavering commitment to patient dignity, academic excellence, and technological advancement, the department remains a beacon of hope and healing.
