Department Overview

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery was established under the leadership of Prof. Dr. H. Umanatha Rao, a pioneer with over four decades of surgical experience. Alongside him, Prof. Dr. P. Sivarama Krishna brings expertise in paediatric orthopaedics, orthopaedic oncology, and congenital disorders. The department plays a vital role in trauma triage and is equipped to handle acute, chronic, overuse, and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions.
